Well, it's been confirmed that "American Idol" fans no longer have to worry about popular judge Jennifer Lopez not returning to the show this season. According to thewrap.com, Lopez will be returning to the Fox show after signing a multimillion dollar contract.
Last season she made a mere $12 million, but sources say the new contract is north of $20 million.
Earlier this year Lopez wasn't sure about returning for another season. You see, unlike her fellow new "Idol" judge, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Lopez had originally only signed up for a year.
"I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening, and it's going to come down to making a choice of really what I want to do for the next year," Lopez said. "We're not really at the breaking point of 'You have to make a decision right now,' so I'm not. I'm really enjoying the time of just waiting and seeing."
Thank goodness she decided to continue judging "American Idol" again.
F.Y.I.: J. Lo news is also working on two major productions: a romantic drama entitled "What to Expect When You're Expecting" and the forthcoming thriller, "Parker."
Surely her return to "American Idol" will help the popular show gain even more viewers.
