NYSNA rally at City Hall for health care justice
12/8/2011, 1:13 a.m.
Tuesday evening, the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) held a rally at City Hall on behalf of health care justice. Union-sponsored buses brought nurses from each of the five boroughs to Lower Manhattan to voice their frustration over issues they felt weren't being addressed by management. Nurses are asking Mayor Michael Bloomberg and city officials to return to the negotiating table and work on a new collective bargaining agreement.
NYSNA represents 8,800 New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation and city agency nurses.
