No Brooks Lopez for the next six or eight weeks, and who knows what he will be like when he returns from a devastating injury. Earlier this week (Tuesday), the Atlanta Hawks flew into Jersey and absolutely demolished the Nets, 106-70, as fans serenaded Kris Humphries. "We love Humphries," the voices sarcastically bellowed.

Down at one point in the game by 39 points, Nets coach Avery Johnson said in his post-game interview, "I think if our players had been in the stands, they probably would have booed us."

The Nets will be in Orlando tonight (Thursday) to play the Magic and Dwight Howard, for whom Nets fans, with nothing else to cheer for, chanted "We want Howard."

The way it looks now, it would indeed be magic if Howard came to Brooklyn-especially if Deron Williams decides to make a move before the Nets make theirs to Brooklyn.
