H.A.D.L.E.Y. PLAYERS' "WHO'S MAMA'S BABY, WHO'S DADDY'S CHILD?" OPENS AT HSOTA MAY 27:
The H.A.D.L.E.Y. Players' great new production of "Who's Mama's Baby, Who's Daddy's Child?" opening May 27 at the Harlem School of the Arts, is a powerful family drama written by Gertrude Jeannette, CEO emeritus and founder of the H.A.D.L.E.Y. Players.
"Who's Mama's Baby, Who's Daddy's Child?" is about senior couple Ozelle Lambert, a semiretired school teacher, and Hor- ace Lambert, a retired postal worker. They are proud parents of three grown, successful children. For many years they have taken in and raised unwanted "children of the state"-children with emotional and physical needs. Based on a true story, this exceptional drama is full of twists, turns, surprises, tears and joy. It highlights the fact that through many a crisis, love, caring, honesty and perseverance can most assuredly conquer all.
"Who's Mama's Baby, Who's Daddy's Child?" runs May 27 through June 19. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday shows start at 2:30 p.m. However, no show is scheduled for Saturday, June 11. Instead they have added a show on Thursday, June 9. Also tickets for the shows on Friday, June 10 and Sunday, June 12 are sold out.
