President Obama Visits NY for UN General Assembly

President Barack Obama and the first lady arrived in New York this week for the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. The president met with leaders from Libya and Brazil on Tuesday and made some remarks to the assembly before addressing the full UN assembly on Wednesday morning. New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg also delivered remarks to the assembly on Tuesday, with a focus on prevention and control of noncommunicable disease. The last day of the assembly is Friday, Sept. 23.
