Hue-Man Books partners with MIST Harlem for book signing event with Dwyane Wade

On September 5th, NBA star Dwayne Wade will be coming to Harlem to sign his new book, "A Father First: How My Life Became Bigger Than Basketball." The signing will be a kick off event for the new pop-up format for Hue-Man books, in which it will have a pop-up shop at events around the city and country, the first begin this books signing with MIST Harlem and a pre-opening celebration for MIST (My Life Studios) Harlem.
The tickets for the signing go on sale on Thursday August 9th at 10AM for $35 each on a first come first serve basis. Purchase of a ticket includes a copy of Wade's book. Wade wrote the book after getting custody of his two sons in March of 2011, the book is way is which to show how has been able to put fatherhood first with his high profile lifestyle.
Both Hue-Man books and MIST Harlem are very excited about the upcoming event. MIST Harlem CEO Roland Laird in a release for the event said "It is an honor to have him [Dwanye Wade] with us for this very special signing event and I'm excited about establishing a relationship with Hue-Man." Marva Allen of Hue-Man books said "To be able to host this event with another local business is community at its best and will showcase our format with style and grace." MIST Harlem is set to open in late September on 116th Street near Lenox Avenue. The venue will have a 130 seat restaurant and three theaters that will films, spoken word, live music, plays and comedy from the Black and Latino community.
