According to beauty expert and author Alfred Fornay, "Vintage hairstyles are in for the holidays. One top hairstyle is created with finger-waved hair that's pulled away from the face, to one side, with resplendent black jeweled combs or bejeweled hairpins to hold the hair in place." Think glamour in the '20s, '30s and '40s.
Celebrity hairstylist Njeri Archer is launching a new product line: the Formula N Hair Care system. The official "red carpet" launch party will be held on Dec. 17 at Ana Hair Studio, 2305 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., from 7 to 10 p.m. In an effort to draw attention and gain publicity for small businesses, she shares her platform with diverse companies to advertise, grow and potentially create employment opportunities in challenging economic times.
One of her products is Formula N Drop. Designed to add to your favorite conditioner for extra strength, it's a combination of essential organic oils and vitamins E, A, K, D, B-1, B-2 and C. This will strengthen, restore moisture, build elasticity, smooth frizzles and add shine to your hair.
Formula N Oil Steam Treatment is for dry, damaged or chemically treated hair. It's created with a combination of vitamins E, A, D, B, natural extracts and coconut. By steaming the nutrients into the hair strands, it's designed to treat, strengthen and hydrate hair that has been made brittle by chemical processing.
