The New York Chapter of the National Association of Kawaida Organizations (NAKO) presents its 43rd annual Malcolm X awards program Sun., May 20 from 3-5 p.m Awards will be presented to Brother Larry Hamm, chairman of the People's Organization for Progress; Brother Ali Lamont, chairman of the Committee to Honor Black Heroes; and Brother Louis Reyes Rivera, poet (posthumous). Awardee Larry Hamm will reflect on Brother Malcolm. At Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton St. Suggested minimum donation is $7.
