New York City’s Inauguration Ceremonies To Be Held JAN. 1

New York City’s inauguration ceremonies for Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, Public Advocate-elect Letitia James and Comptroller-elect Scott Stringer will be held on Jan. 1 at City Hall. Tickets to the swearing-in ceremony are being made available to the general public for one of the first times in recent history. Mayor-elect de Blasio and future first lady Chirlane McCray will greet attendees at City Hall after the swearing-in ceremony. They will also host an open house at Gracie Mansion for several hours on Jan. 5. It will be open to the general public. For more information, go to www.transition2013.com.
