Breathe y'all: Oxygen squashes 'Babies' Mamas' show

Silence! Deeper still are the words of the show's focus: Shawty Lo. According to the rapper, his heavy reputation in the streets, a millionaire by age 21, was his lure.

"A lot of people think I had all these kids when I became a rapper. Ain't none of my kids came when I started rapping. All my kids came when I was that dude in the streets. I came to be one of the largest drug dealers from the Atlanta-Bankhead area, and I started having kids. When the money came, a lot of women came. Once you feel like a girl was your girlfriend or whatever, the rubber probably came off," he said candidly to MTV News. "They wouldn't have an abortion. They used to take the money and run with it, and they'd have a baby by the most popular guy on the street, and that's how I had all them kids."

Having the financial means to support his family was something he later found to have minimal import. "I used to hand over some money and think that's what being a good father was. But even if you ain't got the money, you need to be in your child's life, 'cause that means a lot to them." he said. "Coming up, we didn't have Thanksgiving, we didn't have Christmas, but if I had my father there, if I even had my mother there, I probably wouldn't have been that person I was in the streets." Talk about psychosis!

Well, if we were shown better, we'd have known better right? 2013, here's to focus and clearer visions.
