Opening statements begin in Zimmerman Trial

Day 10 of the second-degree murder trial of George Zimmerman, who shotand killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February of 2012, began with theopening statements of prosecutor, John Guy , and one of two defenseattorneys, Don West (the other Mark O'Mara). West and O'Mara areclaiming self-defense while Guy will move to explain Zimmerman's profilingand pre-judgement of Martin. If convicted of second-degree murder, Zimmerman could face life in prison. The trial is being held at the Seminole County courthouse in Sanford, Florida. It is being live-streamed on WFTV.
