“America’s Got Talent” is coming to New York! The show will be having open auditions on Nov. 16 and 17, at Mercedes Benz of Manhattan located at 536 West 41 Street.

New Yorkers of any age will have the chance to show off their special talents to compete for the $1 million dollar prize on the NBC hit show.

There are two ways to audition for season 9. The public can attend an open call at the location of the audition or online atamericasgottalentauditions.com to pre-register with an uploaded video showcasing their talent.

Last season, Kenichi Ebina of Japanese decent, was crowned the winner for his competitive dancing that impressed the judges. His solo act included dance styles of hip-hop, mime, martial arts, jazz, and ethnic dance.

Forte, a powerhouse operatic trio that made it to the finals last season as well, recently landed a recording contract wit Columbia Records and a special New Years residency in Las Vegas.

Simon Cowell, who produces America’s Got Talent, suggested that acts auditioning should be original, not boring, fearless, and stand out from the crowd. Also, dress to impress in something that you’re comfortable wearing!

The People’s Choice Awards has nominated America’s Got Talent for Favorite Competition TV show. You can also follow AGT on Twitter at: @NBCAGT.
