One night to view Sekou Sundita play on Sept. 27

On Sept. 27, 651 ARTS is presenting a performance of “Circle Unbroken is a Hard Bop” by the poet Sekou Sundiata. The performance is part of 651 ART’s 25th anniversary season. “Circle Unbroken is a Hard Bop” by the late poet will only be showing on Sept. 27 at the Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts at LIU Brooklyn.
The performance is about three artists coming of age in the 1960s and 1970s. LIU Brooklyn is located at 1 University Plaza between Dekalb Avenue and Willoughby Street. Tickets are $10. The play is choreographed by Adia Whitaker and will feature Craig MuMs Grant, Traci Tolmaire and Carvens Lissaint. 651 ARTS is committed to producing and presenting work from the African Diaspora.
