Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams hosted a Vision Zero town hall meeting at Brooklyn Borough Hall this week. Ideas from the community were heard on how to improve street safety, identify problem locations and hammer out site-specific solutions that match realities on the ground. According to data, 18 people have been killed in Brooklyn as a result of a fatal traffic accident. This represents 35 percent of all citywide victims in this period, making Kings County the deadliest borough this year. The most recent was 11-year-old Dylan Perry, who died from injuries sustained in a crash on March 28.
