In response to the pandemic of violence plaguing the Brooklyn community, Friends of Wingate Park—in partnership with the Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health Center—has organized an emergency forum on gun and gang violence on Monday, Jan. 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The date marks Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The forum will be held at Thomas Jefferson High School campus, located at 400 Pennsylvania Ave. in Brooklyn.
The anti-violence community forum will discuss and analyze the problem and offer solutions to the pandemic disease of violence and genocide plaguing the Black communities.
