Emergency Preparedness program coming to Newark

Rudolph Muhammad, director of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Ambulance Corps, is hosting an emergency preparedness education and awareness program in Newark, N.J. The event will take place on Friday, March 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the South Ward Community Center, located at 84 Clinton Place.
Muhammad will discuss critical information for families about survival in the event of disasters. The event is co-sponsored by the Nation of Islam of Newark/Plainfield and Striving Together Equal Progress Inc.
