Harlem Hospital Center officials are joining community leaders on Friday, March 20 to officially open the hospital’s new $19 million state-of-the-art Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Center. The new emergency department is the final part of Harlem Hospital’s $325 million modernization project. The new adult ED has almost twice the space of the former ED; and the new pediatric ED almost triples the available space. Several people will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Deputy Chief of Staff Geoffrey E. Eaton, Rep. Charles B. Rangel and Assemblyman Keith L.T. Wright.
