Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s 2014 Black Book Fair

The Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Brooklyn Alumnae chapter’s annual Black Book Fair took place this past Sunday at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, N.Y., and it was a huge success. Featuring an exciting lineup of new authors showcasing their works and a panel of speakers discussing the challenges and rewards of self-publishing, the book fair was well-attended and well-organized, providing a perfect backdrop for this year’s theme, which was “Books: The Original Social Media.”

It was refreshing as well to see all the young authors and readers who participated in the fair. Kudos to all the women of the Brooklyn Alumnae chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for doing a fantastic job and putting on a great event.
