NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund hold 28th annual National Equal Justice Award Dinner

The NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund held its 28th annual National Equal Justice Award Dinner last Thursday night. The event also commemorated the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education. Among the noted celebrities present were former Mayor David Dinkins, baseball great Hank Aaron and Debra Lee, chair and CEO of BET. Samuel L. Jackson narrated a video about the LDF’s work.
