A charter bus brought 46 seniors from Abyssinian Baptist Church’s senior program and Esplanade Garden’s NNORC senior program to the community partnership forum on Alzheimer’s and brain awareness. The event was held at Hunter College’s East Harlem campus and was sponsored by the Harlem Coalition Partnership and the Greater New York Links’ Health and Wellness Committee.
The morning guest speaker was Jose A. Luchsinger, M.D., from Columbia University Medical Center and the Center on Aging and Health Disparities.
The forum ended with lunch and jazz music performed by the Chuck Fowler Jazz Trio.
