The games tipped off last night (Wednesday) at the Baruch Recreation Center Complex. The games are the only all-star basketball events played between the two leagues. Playing in the boys’ game, New York’s “Mr. Basketball,” Matt Ryan (Iona Prep/Notre Dame University), and Jermaine Bishop (Holy Cross/undecided) will lead the CHSAA All-Stars against the PSAL team featuring Jessie Govan (Wings Academy/Georgetown University) and Desure Buie (Wings Academy/Hofstra University). On the girls’ teams, Ashanae McLaughlin (Murry Bergtraum/Seton Hall University) and Alexandria Smith (Murry Bergtraum/Middle Tennessee State University) will lead the PSAL All-Stars as they compete against Aryn McClure (Archbishop Molloy/Quinnipiac University) and Dina Motrechuk (Moore Catholic/University of Rhode Island) and the CHSAA All-Stars.
