Seven Brown is so excited to invite everyone to the opening of her Harlem Skincare & Laser Clinic April 23, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at 2119 Frederick Douglas Blvd., between 114th and 115th streets. Formerly located across the street at the Yoga Salon, Brown will expand her brand, which started in 2011, with the opening of HSLC, her new venture. Brown is an award-winning esthetician, entrepreneur and Brazilian wax Groupon sales leader. Her new uptown, full-service clinic will be a welcome addition to the area, serving the men and women of Harlem’s international community. Uber, Uptown magazine, Voss and Zico are sponsoring the opening.
For women who want to be made up for a special occasion, HSLC will offer a variety of services, including eyelash application, eyebrow shaping and full makeup application with no appointment necessary. They also perform laser hair removal treatments featuring the newest laser removal technology from Candela and GentleMax Pro.
The Oncology Skin Care program is created for clients navigating chemotherapy and shifts in skin health and provides relief. This type of complementary therapy helps people look and feel better.
As an international licensed esthetician, Brown offers over 15 years of experience working in the beauty and fashion industries. She has worked as a resident skin care consultant with the Sam Fine Beauty Tour for Sephora. During a six-year stint, she worked as a lead advanced educator at Atelier Esthetique Institute. Her position was focused on creating, teaching and managing all postgraduate curricula, including the first-ever comprehensive Paramedical Esthetics for New York and international licensure through ITEC Certification. Brown was the beauty director at Bleu magazine, a guest beauty expert and consultant at HelloBeautiful.com and has received numerous awards. As of 2015, Brown will become the beauty editor-at-large for Uptown magazine.
Brown is a bilingual mother of four and grandmother of one who resides in Harlem. She is also a survivor of domestic violence and supports local and national organizations to help women and families of domestic violence. HSLC is an elegant yet serviceable salon and a major accomplishment. Stop in and tell Brown you read about HSLC in the New York Amsterdam News.
