The world famous Apollo Theater announces its expansion of its daytime programming, utilizing state-of-the-art hologram technology developed by Hologram USA. Through the magic of technology plus legendary and contemporary artists, the holographic shows will illustrate the theater’s impact on American music and culture. The first presentation will be a Billie Holiday hologram show, launching in late 2015.

Also, the 2015-2016 season currently has more than 100 performances scheduled, including collaborations across genres, alongside signature series such as “Amateur Night” and “Apollo Music Cafe.” “Breakin’ Convention,” an international festival of hip-hop theater, kicks off the season Oct. 16.
