It’s that time of the year again—food festival season! There are many to attend, but you have not lived unless you have attended the now eighth annual Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival (@NYCWFF) Oct. 15 to 18. The festival continues to raise awareness and money, with 100 percent of the net proceeds benefiting the Food Bank for New York City and No Kid Hungry.

The festival continues this year with chefs, television personalities and purveyors showcasing food and drinks through tastings, dinners, demonstrations, hands-on classes and more. New events to the festival include “Sweet Masquerade,” hosted by Mr. Cronut himself, Dominique Ansel; “Midnight Jazz Breakfast,” hosted by Cooking Channel’s “Sunday Supper” couple Rev Run and Justine Simmons; chef Bobby Flay serving you his favorite meal with “Brunch @ Bobby’s”; and the “Ramen Party,” a night celebrating one of the city’s favorite foods.

This year the 100-plus events come in many price points for every palate and budget. The convivial spirit of the festival will spread from downtown on Wall Street all the way uptown to Harlem. Are you a newbie? Check out the “Grand Tasting,” presented by ShopRite. You will not leave hungry—or empty-handed.

There is no excuse not to come out and be a part of the team to end hunger. Tickets are still available. Visit www.nycwff.org for more information and to purchase tickets.

Eat. Drink. End hunger.
