ImageNation is hosting a free Oscar Boycott Party in Harlem on Sunday, Feb. 29 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Shrine World Music Lounge (1227 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd.).

The event is being held in response to several Black entertainers and activists, including Jada Pinkett-Smith, Spike Lee and Rev. Al Sharpton, calling for people to not watch the awards ceremony after the Academy didn't nominate any people of color for the second year in a row.

There will be a special screening of the short films "DoDo TiTi" and "Black Art Legends." People can vote for which films should have been included in the Academy Awards by going to ideacoil.com/event. The results wil be tallied at the event.

There is suggested donation and there will be a cash bar. The event is organized by Cultsha.com, Ideacoil, Nadhege Ptah.
