WLNY-TV to air annual Yule Log and Christmas Eve midnight mass

WLNY-TV (Channels 10/55) will continue a holiday tradition by rekindling its Yule Log on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

WLNY-TV (Channels 10/55) will continue a holiday tradition by rekindling its Yule Log on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The broadcast will feature video of a festive fireplace, accompanied by holiday music from 101.1 WCBS-FM, beginning on Sunday, December 24 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Following WLNY News at 9 p.m., the Log will return to warm TV hearths from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

The Yule Log will also air from 1:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Christmas Morning.

The broadcast will feature WLNY news anchors Dick Brennan and Alice Gainer and WCBS FM hosts Scott Shannon and Patty Steele along with CBS 2 meteorologist John Elliott.

WLNY will also broadcast Christmas Eve Midnight Mass (11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.) from St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, New York.

Christmas Mass will air from 9-10 a.m. on Christmas Morning.
