Imhotep's Guide to Black Events

Greetings! The 2017 Grammy Awards were highlighted by Best Urban Contemporary Album Grammy Award winner Beyoncé (beautifully pregnant with her twins and with an amazing special effects holographic presentation) and a great tribute to Prince led by Morris Day and the Time and peaked by Bruno Mars. The Stax music legacy was represented by William Bell’s win for Best Americana Album. The day was clouded by the news of seven-time Grammy Award winner Al Jarreau passing at age 76 after battling illness for some time. Jarreau’s amazing talent and gift of spirit garnered him millions of fans around the world.
