Greetings! On Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, the anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X, December 12th Movement presented “Malcolm X Speaks in the Era of Trump” at Sistas’ Place, in Brooklyn. The program featured excerpts from “The Ballot or the Bullet,” and Malcolm X’s speech at the founding of the Organization of African-American Unity, raising the question of what we must do to continue Malcolm’s legacy. Malcolm X is Black History—a history of struggle for self-determination.
