There is no time like the first week of the year to set your intentions and get your affairs in order. We at AmNewsFOOD are no exception. There are more restaurants, recipes, eateries, chefs and food makers to discover in Harlem, New York City and beyond. We would love your input
and help to find them.
First up is a recap of 2016. As always, last year we reported on so much that happened, how do we decide what to highlight alone? What were some of your favorite AmNewsFOOD articles and stories from 2016? Any new restaurants we missed that need a little shine? We want to hear about it. AmNewsFOOD is still looking for creative, ambitious, focused, passionate and resourceful interns to be part of the team. They should be from the five boroughs, be 21 years of age or older and have a passion for food and the business of food.
Applicants should have strong writing skills, be knowledgeable about, if not versed in, media, including video production, social media and producing online content, as well as event management. Overall, we want people persons who love food and have a unique perspective on food in our
city they want to share.
Interested applicants should email us at AmNewsFOOD@SCHOPnyc.com with writing samples, links to their social media and posted work, and no more than 200 words telling us their food story and why they would make an awesome intern for AmNewsFOOD.
