Tibi, one of the leading contemporary fashion brands for women, leads the way with bright color combinations for fall. Founded in 2017 in Hong Kong, the brand is known for its clean, relaxed, modern and feminine collections. In the show, there seemed to be a return to looking like a lady. Most hems were below the knee. The color khaki was mixed throughout the collection. Dresses were smartly styled in loose-fitting, ladylike shapes with brightly colored pumps. Tibi sells its ready to wear and accessories collections globally. In New York, their flagship store is located at 120 Wooster St. in SoHo.

Enchi Shen, the designer, back home from Milan Academia University of Italy, created the new brand 7crash. This collection looked ready for outer space. These works were inspired by Italian classical architecture and art that’s combined with the lifestyles of men and women. She utilizes music and modern art to show individuality. Her styles are delicate and offer a good command of surreal patterns, bright colors and semi-couture styling.

Zimmermann’s collection was reminiscent of the clothes worn by women of the Wild West. Picture the days of Doc Holliday and Wild Bill Hickok and even the era of the movie “Gone with the Wind.” The looks were long, shapely with all the details. On Zimmermann’s fall ’18 runway, you saw it all. The ruffled and flounced hemlines on pretty skirts, cinched waistlines, corset-wide belts, high Victorian necklines on blouses with leg o’ mutton sleeve treatments are just a few of the dramatic details.

Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their namesake brand in Sydney in 1991. Early in its evolution, Zimmerman took a bold step of fusing fashion with swimwear. When they presented the concept to the world, they immediately found a following. Introducing the fashion elite to their new swim line allowed the sisters to create a new point of reference in flattering, feminine, stylish swimwear.

In the beginning, Nicky focused on designing dresses and selling them to Paddington markets. “While working the markets, I had two pages of editorial in Australian Vogue,” she said. “That was a significant moment.”

Simone joined the business in 1991. Together, they operate a successful fashion house. Zimmermann shows every season at Fashion Weeks in New York, Sydney, London, Paris and Los Angeles. Their collections are stocked at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Harrods and Harvey Nicols and are also available at online stores such as Net-a-Porter.
