Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson to perform at Aretha Franklin's funeral

A star-studded line up is set to perform at Aretha Franklin's funeral in Detroit.
Reports indicate that Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Yolanda Adams and Jennifer Holliday are going to sing at the funeral for Franklin, who died last week from pancreatic cancer.
Wonder, who was a lifelong friend of Franklin's, visited her before she died. He also wrote her 1973 hit song "Until You Come Back to Me (That's What I'm Gonna Do)."
Hudson has said that Franklin is one of her major musical influences. In several interviews, Franklin said that she would like Hudson to play her in a movie about her life.
Several events are taking place during the week of Franklin's funeral in her hometown of Detroit. Public viewings will take place on Aug. 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Another viewing will take place on Aug. 31 at New Bethel Baptist Church0
A musical tribute is set for Aug. 30. A location has not yet been determined.
Funeral services are being held on Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. at Greater Grace Temple for family and friends only.
