A Shake Shack does not open without collaborating with local makers, artists and organizations. From the inside out, the new Harlem location is no exception.

The 3,754 square-foot Shack will feature an outdoor patio and custom interior and exterior murals created by 11 Harlem students through the nonprofit youth arts group, Creative Art Works. Their mission uses art to help develop personal and professional skills to meaningfully shape futures.

Beerheads, look out for Harlem Brewing Company (@HarlemBrew) in Sugarhill bottles and a seasonal IPA on draft. Also check The Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn Brewery and Shake Shack’s exclusive Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale.

On the custard concrete menu try the 125th Treat featuring snickerdoodle cookies from Lady Lexis Sweets. Owner Lexis Gonzalez says she got the opportunity to submit her product for consideration after her participation in Harlem EatUp!

Finally, as part of Shake Shack’s mission to Stand for Something Good, The Harlem Shack will donate 25 percent of proceeds from opening day and 5 percent of sales from the Pie Oh My concrete throughout the life of the Shack to Harlem Grown. Their mission is to inspire youth through mentorship and hands-on education in urban farming, sustainability

and nutrition.
