PHOTOS: Natural beauty celebrated at CURLFEST 2018

It was a celebration of natural beauty on Saturday at Prospect Park in Brooklyn when hundreds came out for CURLFEST 2018.
From afros to twist-outs to curls, the event, now in its fourth year, is a one-day event dubbed as the "largest natural beauty festival in the tri-state area."
The goal of the CURLFEST is to create a unique experience that empowers women and celebrates their natural beauty.
This year, attendees were treated to vendors, hair care products and beauty demonstrations. Brooklyn Borough President, Eric Adams also give a proclamation for the event.
Celebrity couple Ace Hood and Shelah Marie participated in a conversation about Black love. Other celebrity guest at this years event inlcuded Ebonee Davis, Dapper Dan, Michaela Angela Davis and Malik Yoba.
CURLFEST is hosted by Curly Girl Collective, LLC, an experiential marketing group that specializes in unique experiences that connect multicultural women with brands that cater to their unique beauty.
