“Bring It On: The Musical” goes on a journey into the world of competitive cheerleading during a highly complex time in one’s life—high school. The musical is directed by Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins, of the hit play “Jelly’s Last Jam,” in which she co-starred alongside Gregory Hines, and of the popular television series “Gotham” and “All My Children.”

“Bring It On: The Musical,” loosely based on the 2000 film with the same name, playfully takes audiences on a journey through the existential angst of teenage friendships, romance and rivalries. Containing dynamic songs, dance and tumble routines, the show offers joyful escapism while driving home the messages of never giving up on a dream and embracing differences as a unifying mechanism. Black Spectrum Theatre Company, Inc. is proud to present a highly energetic production that audiences of all ages will enjoy.

Tickets are $25, and special group and student discounts are available.
