If it is August, then you must know whoever you are looking for, the Vineyard is where they will be.
Over the weekend of May 19 and May 20, everything that you love about popular culture is going to unspool in a big, inclusive, diverse and “only in the Big Apple” sort of way—meaning it’s going to be a show.
This year is the fifth anniversary of the Vulture Festival, presented by AT&T, with a big lineup of events featuring Ava DuVernay, Tracy Morgan, Jim Parsons, Julianna Margulies and Adam Pally, as well as the casts of “Younger,” “Queen Sugar” and “Star Trek: Discovery.” Just a few days before the world explodes with LGBTQ pride, there will be a “RuPaul’s Drag Race” panel! Also, by popular demand, there will be a large selection of podcasts, including “Throwing Shade,” “Queery,” “Dr. Gameshow” and “Good One.”
