In collaboration with artist Miranda Makaroff SS’20 collection, designer Desigual unveiled a fantastic fashion collection with artistic cameos that showed women living in harmony with nature. The colorful collection, shown on Dec. 4, was inspired by the artist’s wonderful experiences in Ibiza, the island where she created feminine looks. They were looks of love, fantasy and free expression.
In Miami Beach, this special spring/summer ’20 Desigual and Miranda Marakoff capsule collection explored the themes of individuality, seduction and freedom of expression. Clothes were made of sustainable, 100% organic fabrics in various materials. Creative culottes were shown with cotton tops. The collection included pleated pieces, looks with fine ribbing, colorful cropped jackets, jeans and cotton t-shirts. There’s a beautiful line of understated prints in pretty colors. At Desigual’s Lincoln Road Store (630 Lincoln Road space in Miami, Florida 33139), there are some holiday shopping teasers. Find some important looks for the holiday.
Miranda Makaroff is the daughter of designer singer Lydia Delgado and singer/songwriter Sergio Makaroft Miranda. Miranda is a designer, painter, and illustrator. Her designs were sensual. “My goal is to convey positive energy and fun because I think that’s something that has been left on the back burner of fashion,” said Miranda. “We have become somewhat enslaved and crazy about trends, and I think it’s important to see fashion from a viewpoint of freedom, creativity and playfulness.”
Lourdes Leon’s piece closed the show. Another highly talented artist, her dancing was amazing. Carlota Guerrero loves her movements and her art. The Desigual team was pleased to present Leon as the perfect ending to this exclusive and special presentation. Her artistic side is quite aligned with their brand.
