Native Americans, please tell Donald Trump and his merry band of racists to go back where they came from Dear Native American brothers and sisters—and especially Congressmembers Sharice Davids and Deb

Your voices have been Missing In Action this past week in the continued racialization of politics in these United States by the 45th POTUS. I don’t know why that is, but I urge you to please speak up and humbly tell the so-called president of the United States and his merry band of racists, to “go back” where THEY came from.

Wherever that is. Please and thanks!

After all, if anyone should be telling anyone to “go back where they came from,” it should be you my Native American brothers and sisters; you the original protectors and owners of this land for tens of thousands of years before the white man’s arrival, and from the settlement of the Americas by the Paleo-Indians.

It is your collective voices that we need to hear in this madness, not the voices of every other white, Black and Hispanic analyst. And not the voices of “The Squad” or Nancy Pelosi.

We are all immigrants here, except for Blacks who were brought here forcibly by the colonizers and worked like mules for free. So please remind this ignorant madman occupying the office of POTUS of that since he seems to be the re-embodiment of Adolf Hitler.

It is crystal clear that his diatribe and actions are straight from the Hitler playbook. He believes, like Hitler and white supremacists and racists, that America belongs only to Caucasians and that immigrants and every one of color should “go back where they came from,” leaving them a purely white nation.

Perhaps like many racist and bigoted white Americans, he and most of his Republican Party and base would like to believe their version of history—that they are the “true” Americans and everyone who is Brown and Black, regardless of if they were born here or not, needs to leave so “their” America can be “Great Again.”

So dear Native American brothers and sisters, dear Congressmembers Davids and Haaland, do not stay silent! We need to hear your voices in this era of racist political assaults, ICE raids, caged children, and screaming xenophobic chants of “Send Her Back,” as you and you alone have the right to tell us all to go back where we came from.

Please remind the white man in the White House that he too is an “immigrant occupier,” as are his immigrant wives and anchor babies and the majority of Americans who are not Native American.

Tell him and his followers to leave and seek asylum in the places their illegal immigrant ancestors came from so many years ago, and whom you were too generous in granting asylum to.

Perhaps if you had been like him and put his ancestors in cages and kept them out of this great land, you would not have suffered the horrors they wrought on you, and which this POTUS wants to wreak on us Brown and Black, immigrant, Muslim, Sikh, Jewish and Hindu Americans.

Perhaps—free of the racists and their leader —America can truly be Great Again.

Please speak up now.

Yours respectively,

Your immigrant sister in the struggle.
