On Monday, March 11, the World Community of Social Workers hosted the 36th annual Whitney M. Young Jr. Equal Justice for Children Tribute Organizers paid tribute to “The role that Whitney Young Jr.—social work and civil rights advocate—played to end discrimination in the workplace and provide equal access to economic opportunity for those deprived and socially marginalized.”
March is Social Workers Month/Women History Month. The event was held at the Amy Ruth Restaurant in Harlem, New York City.
