Bill Saxton, Alvin Wink Flythe and Todd Herbert explore the intricacies of the music of John Coltrane on stage Saturday Sept. 21, from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Market, located at 52 West 116th Street between 5th Avenue and Lenox Avenue. Soprano saxophonist and vocalist Dr. John Satchmo Mannan, president of the NY State Jazz Society, will join them. Pianists Denton Darien, John Lander and Lamon Fenner will be featured along with Norbert Marius on bass, Jamey Affourmado on drums and others.

The event is free to the public and is supported by The Jazz Foundation of America, the law firm of Lipsig, Shapey, Manus & Moverman, and The New York Jazz Society.
