In many communities, churches are not only a place of worship but additionally serve as a neighborhood resource. As technology becomes more and more prevalent in our everyday lives, State Sen. Kevin Parker has partnered with Altice to provide free high-speed internet access and laptops to Cornerstone Baptist Church, located at 574 Madison Street in Brooklyn. In addition to donating to the church’s computer lab, Parker and Altice gifted two high school seniors who are members of the Cornerstone Baptist Church with laptops.

Parker had the following to say about this partnership: “Access to education and technology is very important. I am thankful to Altice for partnering with my office and making this initiative a priority. I applaud Altice for their commitment to community work and look forward to expanding access to high-speed internet and computers throughout the 21st Senate District, in which I represent, and the surrounding areas.”
