My goal after graduation is to work and, eventually, produce and direct my own show. I am very excited to be a part of the Inaugural Amsterdam News Educational Foundation Business Internship Program because I think it is essential to learn the business side of journalism. I am Raegan Lee, a recent graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in International Studies and Japanese. Since I was a child, I have been interested in journalism sitting at the coffee table in my living room, creating my newspaper to show my grandmother. This then evolved into my high school’s journalism class for four years and ended it with an editor-in-chief position my senior year. In college, I used the university-provided newspaper subscriptions to keep up with daily news. I think that being informed of news events on the local, national, and international levels is one of the best ways to learn and understand the struggles of others. LinkedIn Profile
