25 cities in the United States are being classified as the fastest gentrified neighborhoods over the years, according to Michael J. Petrilli, the executive vice president of Thomas B. Fordham Institute’s Blog.

The list of cities shows how the demographics of certain cities have altered from the year 2000 to 2010. Among the cities, Brooklyn, NY appears four times.

The cities that are included are as follows: Columbia, SC, Chattanooga, TN (once more), Chicago, IL, Roanoke, VA, Austin, TX, Brooklyn, NY, Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Washington, DC (twice more), Atlanta, GA, Denver, CO, Charleston, SC, Tampa, FL, St. Paul, MN, St Louis, MO, San Diego, CA, Houston, TX, Philadelphia, PA, and Portland, OR.
