Operation Homefront, a nonprofit organization is launching their new program, Back-to- School Brigade that provides school supplies to children of military families.
Military families are given supplies by distribution events that are held at different locations in the United States. The goal is to raise $75,000 for back packs and other school supplies so that kids are ready for the upcoming school year.
Military families go through a lot of hard time; separations, relocations, and increased deployments. The goal of this program is to at least take away some of the financial stress that these families are facing. The money raised will all go to children living in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
