Visitors from around the world have been stopping by to admire the famed Rockefeller Center Christmas tree.

This year’s tree is an 85-foot Norway spruce from Warkill, N.Y. and features 50,000 LED lights. Topping the tree is a redesigned 9 feet and 4 inch 900-pound star with 70 spikes and 25,000 real Swarovski crystals.

At the end of the holiday season, wood from the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree will be used to build Habitat for Humanity homes.
