Florida A&M University President Dr. Larry Robinson recently visited the city as part of FAMU’s National Alumni Association Northeast Regional Conference.

Robinson came to Harlem Sunday to attend a fundraiser brunch at Melba’s Restaurant. Robinson was named the 12th president of FAMU in 2017. Previously, he served as the interim president of FAMU from September 2016 to November 2017 and from July 2012 to March 2014.

FAMU NAA held its regional conference at the West New York Grand Hotel Aug. 17-18. The conference was dedicated to Charlie E. Brown, the first female FAMU NAA Northeast Regional vice president.
