I’m a junior at New Design High School. I enjoy making stories for movies, television, video games, and more. My biggest post secondary goal is to attend a college where I can learn to share my stories to the world. I grew up with cartoons like The Owl House, Gravity Falls, and Phineas and Ferb. All shows inspiring me to embrace my creativity. I want to give a new generation the light I was given, to embrace their creativity while feeling they will always belong.

I am currently a junior at Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics with the dream of giving back to others. Volunteering at Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital has shown me how much I aspire to work with those in need and make an impact on others’ lives. After I graduate from high school, I plan to pursue a degree in Nursing and a minor in Child Development. My ultimate dream is to become a Pediatric Oncology Nurse. In my free time, I enjoy baking, traveling, and listening to music.

I enjoy studying science and I want to be an engineer or a doctor in the future. When I finish high school I want to go to UPenn or Villanova University. At school I play football in the fall and I run track in the spring. I’m in a community service club called “Interact” at my school. I also do community service with an elementary school in Wallingford, Connecticut. I want to start an afterschool program in Brooklyn that offers free meals and free afterschool activities to kids.

I am an honor roll student, a full academic scholarship recipient, and Student Council President at Hope Ignites of New York. Whether on the volleyball court, cheerleading in the sidelines, or writing late at night; I show up with intention! Writing became my refuge and my voice, inspiring my upcoming book Lady Orpheus, where lived experiences were shaped into prose. Once told my personality was “too much,” I learned it was my superpower. My dream is an international career in law or psychology rooted in empathy, storytelling, and impact.

I am 15 years old Junior, born in Nigeria, who goes to Northstar Lincoln park Highschool. Northstar offers a space for me and my peers to learn about ourselves helping us develop strong habits for college. I have many interests such as sports, reading, and watching documentaries. My goal in the future is to become a neuroscientist while being a mentor. My reason for this goal is to help children know that they have the power to do whatever they were told was impossible.

I’m the page editor of the arts and culture section for my school’s newspaper as well as a photographer and finance president for the media club, Studio 462. I absolutely love photography, videography, writing, and really anything that allows me to be creative. I plan to attend college for film and screenwriting and dream of becoming a film director/screenwriter, telling and creating stories that bring people together. Storytelling is how I choose to communicate the change I want to see in the world.
