This reception will celebrate our “Amsterdam News Readers Choice Award Winners” and the “Amsterdam News 52” unsung community leaders with nationally prominent elected officials.
Additionally, we will be presenting awards reflecting Amsterdam News Educational Foundation’s reimagining of our historic Harlem headquarters into a national center celebrating the Black Press’ and Black Journalists’ indelible impact on American history, the ongoing home of Amsterdam News and its minority New Media center. It is essential in this time of challenge that we recognize those on the front line working to ensure the sustainability of local news and minority legacy press.
