The new Northern Manhattan Clean Streets initiative will kick off Saturday, July 16 at the corner of Dyckman Avenue and Broadway. Elected officials will be on hand to raise awareness on the importance of community pride in their neighborhoods.
The clean streets initiative will begin with a press conference about the initiative and its importance for the area, followed by throngs of people spreading out to clean the neighborhood. The initiative is part of an ongoing project, as the neighborhood’s cleanliness has suffered over the years.
