This celebrity cast also includes: Ebony Jo-Ann (Audelco Award Winner), Allyson Williams (R&B/Jazz Recording Artist), Priscilla Baskerville (The Metropolitan Opera Company), and Lou Meyers as “Herod” (NAACP Image Award). The story of Mary and Joseph is narrated by Michele Sorel and Tyrone Aiken, and directed by Mel Williams, Director and Acting Coach. The production is not only underscored in music and stage but with dance choreographed by La Michael Leonard, I-Ling Llu and Antonio Brown (Principals of Bill T. Jones), under the musical direction of Joseph Joubert (Billy Elliot and the Color Purple).
This one night performance is dedicated to the life of James Stovall, creator of this spectacular event.
