Martin Luther King III, Drum Major Institute, and others speak out on Stop and Frisk

On Tuesday, April 24th on the City Hall Steps, Martin Luther King III will be in conversation with New York City elected officials and the Drum Major Institute to discuss the NYPD stop and frisk policy and how the modern civil rights movement struggles are correlated with the efforts to reform the policy.”The use of stop and frisk has greatly expanded over the past decade, and currently eighty-seven percent of all stops target people of color.
